that is about 3 mths old and weighs about 3 lbs. Could that small dog have got her pregnant? He is schelueled to be nueters soon,but is it too late? The older dog is producing milk in her nipples.
Answers:If she was in heat in July, it is extremely unlikely she would still be pregnant if she was. A dog's gestation period is 63 days (give or take a few). It has been 3 months since she was in heat, so not likely. Also, if the male was 3 months old, he more than likely couldn't have bred with her, since he isn't sexually mature yet. If she is producing milk you need to have her seen by a vet.
I doubt it was the puppy, has she been loose outside at all? It takes only a few minutes for a neighbor dog to jump in your yard and do his business. They can get pregnant for two weeks after bleeding and are pregnant for two months, so if she was breed this would be about whelping time for her. It'll be neat to see what the puppies look like I suppose, and after she has them might not hurt to get her spade so no more accidents happen. Good luck and enjoy your puppies.
no that small dog couldnt have got the other dog pregnant. hes to young. however she could be pregnant from another dog if she wasnt watched all the time or she could be havinga false pregnancy. have her checked by a vet.
