Try the Association for Pet Dog Trainers. They have a US and international search. As far as I know you could be anywhere in the world.

The best place to ask is a vet's. Phone a couple of vet surgeries near you to ask them who they recommend.

As for the American who asked which Nottingham, I took it that the poster meant to ORIGINAL and best one. All others are mere imitations.

Nottingham is a very large area. There are several training schools around. I found mine by looking in the yellow pages. Ring the local ones first and ask about their training methods and weather it suits your needs. I would go to the first session without your dog to see how the class interacts and how good the trainers are. As for classes it all depends on what you want your puppy to do. I would go for a mixed group of dogs of all ages so your pup learns social skills from a variety of dogs not just puppies. As for cost thats up to you to decide on how much you are willing to pay. I go to weekly sessions and for 2 dogs (different days) its about 拢10 per week however some trainers will only take set courses. I find a weekly class much more rewarding as once your pup reaches the required standard you want you will beable to concentrate on more detailed obdeience and may even want to show your pup later on. Just remember to make it fun for you & your dog and it will take a long time but you only get out what you put in.
