my 7 year old lab is still going into heat and I was wondering if it would ever stop.

No dogs do not stop going into heat. My advice would be to have her spayed. It will keep from having complications that most intact female dogs have. She will have less of a chance of mammory gland cancer and pyometra. Spayed females live healthier longer lives than most intact female dogs. That and spaying her will get rid of the heat factor, otherwise you will deal with it about every 6 months if not more than that.
