I have 2 long haired chi's and i do TRIM there hair, right now there puppies so the hair is growing everywhere and so i tell the groomer just to trim stray hairs around the ears and trim the stray hairs on there feet. and do a sanitary cut on there butts and for my female around her vagina and on the tip of my males penis. nothing major to me to look "cleaner" when there hair nicely trimmed
