my dog got lost 7 months ago and i always think of him if he is ok if he has eaten 'do dog think about their owners like miss them or they forget

awww.. no certainly not no one forgets their pet ever. they become a part of the family and you love them very much. i am sure that most owners who have a heart always remember their pets. its normal for you to wonder. you don't have closure. you just keep wondering what happened to him just know deep down that he is somewhere safe.

I WOULD LIKE TO THINK THAT ALL MY PETS WOULD THINK OF ME AND MISS ME. BUT I ALSO KNOW NONE OF THEM WOULD WANT TO RUN AWAY. EXCEPT FOR MY WOLF MIX.

I think they do remember their owners,

my husband isn't home at this time and my dog is always looking at different guys walking by as if she's looking for him.

She's even got a little excited at first a couple times when one slightly resembles him.

I think they do remember their owners. When hurricane Katrina hit, a man lost his dog and couldn't find it for over 5 months. He went to every shelter he knew of and found and then finally he found his dog there. As soon as the dog saw him, they dog went nuts. It was a very happy ending for the both of them.

When I am away from my dog, he howls like a wolf. If I take him in the car and leave him for 1 minute, he acts like I have been gone 1 week.dogs have no sense of time. I had 2 leave him periodically to go out of town. It's very hard to find a motel that allows dogs and then they are expensive. The last time I left him with my neighbors who he absolutely loves and he whined the entire time. I absolutely think dogs miss you especially if you were a good owner and spent a lot of time with them. I hope that someone found your dog and is taking great care of him..that's why I got mine microchipped.
