I think you should start of adding zebra danios

Maybe, add 5 then wait a week. If they are ok add another 5

Start with danios as they are very hardy fish

After this then just add a few tetras, most people say neons but i like a mixture of different ones together :)

When the tank/filter are cycled then you can add in fish. I'm pretty partial to livebearers, but you'd either need another aquarium to raise the babies in, or just get all males. Cories are a must, though! They are the cutest little catfish on the planet! And ottos. They will work hard to keep your tank clean and provide loads of entertainment while they do it. Get a group of 3 cories, 3 ottos, and maybe 4 or 5 male guppies and that would be an awesome tank :)
