What is the best type of fish for a beginer?
Answers:A betta was suggest but thats for a small tank (alo they can be part of a community), What is the tank size? , For tanks 5gal and above i suggest some livebears, They are a good hardy fish and easy to breed,

The Betta Fish. A Betta is a easy care fish, and can live without a filter and lives great in a bowl, though i suggest not to put a fish in a bowl. They come in a great colors for the males. Here is a picture:

All you need to do is feed your Betta, and clean out it's tank every week if you don't have a filter. Betta's do thrive in warm waters so a water heater is also something to consider when getting a Betta, I myself have a gorgeous red betta fish and he lives in a 2.5 gallon tank with a light, some gravel, a few fake plants, and a castle.
