Also when breeding them, make sure that there are some hiding spots for the female, if things get a little out of hand as it sometimes happen for 1st time breeders.

if your really serious about breeding bettas, then you need to hit up bettatalk.com. read everything and if your still up to it. Go for it. i've breed bettas before and it's no walk in the park, but if you succeed like me, you'll have a bunch of jars all over the house haha.
