Beta+goldfish=love
Can i put a goldfish in a fish bowl with a beta?
Answers:No, neither fish should be kept in a bowl and the betta is a tropical fish needing 78-82 degree temps.
The goldfish is a cold water fish and should not be kept at temps higher than 70 degrees.
All fish should have aquariums with filters to keep their water clean.
BTW, it is spelled betta and pronounced bet-tah, not bay-tah.
No, dont even try its dead the next day this happen when I was like 5 lol
Goldfish require different temperatures and different food. Plus, bettas are pretty aggressive, and may hurt your goldfish. Don't try it!
Beta+goldfish=dead goldfish
Betas aren't friendly. At least not the 6 I had
No, for a few reasons.
First, gold fish cannot live in bowls. There is no oxygen flow in a bowl and a gold fish will suffocate and die very quickly in a bowl.
Second, beta's attack anything with long flowing fins, which most fancy goldfish have.
Third, there is not enough space in a bowl. One goldfish need about 5-20 gallons of water depending on what species it is (2 gallons for every inch of body length).
Betas also need different temperature water than goldfish. Betas need a tank at about 72-78 degrees F and goldfish need a water temperature in the 60's.
noooooo!
