Black specks on goldfish
I have a lovely reddy orange goldfish, who I have noticed has like very small pin prick black specks on him, and a couple on the edge of his fins. I hadnt noticed them before (had him about 2 weeks), I have checked the water every other day for the nitrate, nitrites, ph, gh, kh and ammonia and they have been fine. He us very active, eating fine, seems totally normal. I have a second fish in the tank who has none of these markings. Any one know what could be causing them?
Answers:I've seen a similar question on here a few times before, maybe you could look for the answers to them. or you could try putting a pic of the mark on here http://www.irecognisethat.com/show_quest...

It sounds like something easily treatable with a bit of salt. Buy some non-iodized (plain or Kosher) salt, and the general rule is that you add one tablespoon for every five gallons of water. I usually tend to be more conservative than that, though. Salt is great because it will kill diseases without killing your fish, and it also helps promote healing.
