Black spots on my Jellybean Chiclid

Do you have enough "caves" for your jellybean? For each Cichlid you should have one hideout. This ensures that each fish can have their own comfortable territory to retreat to. Bullying should stop .
My favorite, cheap, and save "caves" are pvc piping. Cichlids seem to like the curved and intersection pieces. Then I will let the algae grow or bury in them in rocks, so that it looks more natural.
It's a diabolical infestation. It may spread to the nearest human causing an uncontrollable urge to eat chili. It is best to call an Orthodox Greek and demand an exorcism. It's your right as an infected victim of what is known in the business as "Devil in the bean Syndrome." This can be fatal, but only if your bowel movements are irregular.
Those dots are probably normal. Whoever sold you "African" jellybean cichlids tricked you. Those jellybean cichlids have no african in them. They are a mixture between Severums and Convict cichlids and possibly another type of central or south american cichlid. Yes they are manmade. I think that the spots you see are quite normal. They tend ot happen with severums. Juvenile severums have spots that change darkness depending on who becomes dominant. Oftemtimes the more dominant one has a much darker spot its body. Another reason for the spot to appear is due to stress. I think this may have been inherited from the severum side of the fish. Convicts tend to do this too. However instead of spots, they have stripes that either become dull or really dark depending on stress level, dominance, etc. Your jellybeans must have inherited these characteristics.
