Get a pleco it will eat green or brown algae(it will not eat hair algae) .You could do the bleach route on the plastic plants but make sure they are rinsed out comoplety before puting them back. You can use the bleach at about 20% bleach to 80% water to have minimum color fading. If you don"t wan"t to use bleach put the plants in a bucket in a dark place for a week and the algae should die
Dont worry about it, its just the process a new aquarium goes through, it will go as quickly as it appeared, just be sure to do weekly water changes for the first few months to avoid amonia and nitrite spikes.
Maybe some snails? Apple snails don't eat your plants but will eat your algae.
Ask at the aquarium for the fish or insects that keep the tank clean these will eat away the algae.
