The one thing you didn't mention was a pump and filter. He told me it makes a big difference in the water quality. He also has a mini- water fall when the water returns after it 's filtered. (which oxygenates the water)

Oh, I almost forgot? The kois and gold fish he has are perfectly healthy.

there r many possibilities, the other fish may be sick causeing them to be sick, maybe b4 they were bought there was a sick fish wich got the others sick, wrong food, or they may not be used to the enviromental change, my goldfish elvis died that way!! good luck!!

test the amonia nitrate and nitriate levels. If you have any amonia, nitrites in the pond pull the fish out and look up the nitrogen cycle, or if your nitrates are above10-20 ppm

Check your water quality first. Ammonia and nitrites should be zero, nitrates should be very low. If not, do a partial water change (no more than 30%), and be sure to treat the replacement water with a chlorine-remover. You can also try something like Ammo-Lock as a short term fix. I agree that you should stop with the pH Down - it is OK for a one-time thing but used repeatedly over time, it seems to do more harm than good.

The red streaks in the fins sounds like sepsis (septicemia) to me. Try AP Ponds anti-bacterial treatment - it is widely available on-line, and I have also seen it in places like Petsmart. It is also possible that you have a parasitic infestation that has weakened the fish and allowed the sepsis to take hold. You can do a treatment with praziquantel (Prazi) and even if there aren't any parasites, this won't hurt them.
