No. They're freshwater fish.
No. They're a freshwater fish, and putting them in saltwater would kill them.
NO NO NO NO NO NO!!! Their freshwater! Don't even TRY! And if you did, already, you should be ashamed of yourself!
Sorry for freaking out, that's just a weird question!
Nope. Don't even think about it. Goldfish are a freshwater fish, and putting them in saltwater will kill them, not necessarily instantly, but it won't be pretty.
Freshwater fish can't 'breath' salt water. You'll kill them.
absolutely not! they only live in freshwater and they are cold water fish. most salt water fish (not all) that you will get in a pet store need warmer temperatures so there is two reasons why you shouldn't put goldfish in saltwater aquariums. However there are some "freshwater" fish that can be acclimated to live in a saltwater tank. Freshwater eels, molly's, guppy's, and puffers can all be slowly acclimated to go into a marine aquarium. I wouldnt reccomend trying it if you are a beginner to keeping fish but it can be done with thiose fish but def not goldfish.
Of course not! Goldfish are freshwater fish, and require freshwater water to live. Saltwater fish need saltwater to live, and the goldfish would die in there.
