Can I put a tube in my fish tank
I was wondering if I could get a hamster tube attachment for my fish tank. I need something for my small fish to hide it. None of the ornaments at the pet store were the right size or looked good. Could I get one of these attachment hamster tubes? The link is below:

Answers:Yes, it should be good. Just make sure to run it under hot water to remove all the bacteria.

those would work or you can even just use pvc pipe from home depot. pvc comes in various diamters you can cut it to whatever length you want and to make it look nicer in the tank you can cover it in aquarium safe silcon and roll it in your gravel to match your tank. (got the silicon gravel tip from magic man) Looks great!
hey that's a cool idea! but i don't know if they should go into an aquarium though because plastic tends to slowly deteriorate in water
(i guess you should think to yourself: is it safe for me to drink water that has been sitting in a plastic waterbottle/ nalgene bottle for a month?
[ how bout a month in the heat? >especially if you have a heated aquarium for tropical fish] )
but i would still go ask someone who works at a petstore like PetCetera or something where they sell stuff for all kinds of different animals, i'm quite sure they would know!
