Can a black molley fish survived if they are put in a dark placelight place which survives longer2007-11-24 23:10:25Answers:
it doesnt matter, personally i havent found any connect to the success of a fish based on lighting. Yes the color will be alot duller in a dark place, but if your aquarium is lighted...it wont make them live longer.
What makes fish live longer is a good filter, for clean water, regular water changes, a good diet, and love + care.
there good every way a white molly a black their is no difference exept color dark and white dosent mean they have to be in a dark or light place but the black molly is attracted to black items
Mollies enojy what most fish enjoy, reguardless of color (and trust me, they come in more than 2!) Most Mollies are now being raised as brackish, meaning they like a little bit of sea salt in thier water. Dark vs. Light typically isnt an issue, but it's my understanding that the light helps keep their spines strait, whereas darkness is just, well dark. I know my Mollies apperciate the light. I am currently raiseing their babies and found that when I put a light over them for just 10-20 mins, they would all rise and be playful, rather than sit around lazy.
