Can a kribensis live alone

Can a kribensis live alone2007-11-24 23:10:26

I know they do best in pairs but I'm just wondering if one could live alone.

Answers:

There is no problem keeping one krib in a tank . However don"t expect to see them dress up in their best color patten without a mate. In fact they might look quite bland. It is easy to tell the sex of kribs >The female usually has a very rounded belly that is bright redish purple and looks more compressed .She will have squared off ventral fins vs the male have ventrals that come to a point. The male willbe longer and thiner These fish are usually good parents and will not usually eat their young .

Yes, there is no problem with that.
