Can a sailfin molly breed with a regular molly
can they? and what would the fry look like? what would the cross of a yellow molly and red sailfin molly look like?
Answers:Yes they can, but it doesn't mean that they all do
Some will look like the mom or the dad
and some will be just a mix of them both
Hope that helps
Good luck

Yes, they can. Their have even been reports that guppies and mollies bred together. I don't know what they would look like, some probably would be orange! :)
FishieFin 鈾?
they can, as mollies are all of the same family but i have noticed that on swordtails , my swordtails dont mix with others of a different color.
I dont know why this happens, as i havent read anything about this before, but i have noticed that my black mollies and my green swordtails will not breed with the white mollies and my red eye swordtails respectively.
There is really no evidence other than what i have seen at my house, but my fishes are not breeding within colorations.
But in princeable they should be able to breed.
Chances are that it will have a high sail, it tends to be adominate trait. The coloration varys as your fish may pocess hidden coloration traits.
Hi, Yes they can. When the fry are fully grown some of the fry will look like the male. Some will look like to female and a few might look a little different.
dont know what they would look like but yes they can breed
