Can anybody tell me how the betta mating process work
The male and the female will be housed in seperate tanks as Male Betta's cannot be housed with other Betta's. For about 2 weeks, you condition them for breeding feeding them a high protien diet such as bloodworms and brine shrimp. The male should after a couple weeks begin to build a bubble nest and the female will get rounder and a white spot near her anal fin will develop indicating she has stored up eggs. When both are conditioned, and the nest is built, put the female in with the male. Make sure your breeding tank is big enough around a 10 gallon tank, half to three quarter filled with water, and plenty of cover for the female. The male will harass the female at first if she is not receptive to breeding so keep an eye on them to make sure they are both ready. Once the male and female being, the male will wrap his body around the female to induce her to drop her eggs, which he will fertilize and store up in the nest. When the female is no longer releasing eggs, take her out and move her back to her own tank and the male will watch over the nest from there.

you put the male and female together and as soon as they mate you can take her or him out. Pick me I need the points!!
they make a bubble nest
What "no name" said. Also, to help things out, put something like baby toys that have a circle or triangle shape to float in the tank, so they can make their bubble nest easier.
Please do not just dump one fish into the other's tank and wait for the spawning to take place. Lots of people think breeding just happens this way, and end up with injured or dead fish.
Here's a very helpful article about the entire process:
