The best luck in finding yours would be at your local lfs. Not all of them have it though. It seems that here in socal's inland empire onlya few carry them. It was already mentioned above but petco does have some pretty horrible conditions for fish. I know that 2 of the ones i've visited here are always missing fish or have fish under observation.

Call your local fish stores ahead of tiem and ask them if they have any. If not ask them if they can special order it for you. more than likely they would.

I got mine from a local fish store for $7.

I never saw them at petco but you can try FishTown USA. They usually have new imports at the beginning of every week.

Never seen them at Petco myself. You can ask if they can special order them and if not just try another place. By the way, most Petcos get their fish on Thursday. ;)

I saw a few at petco for around $15 each. They all looked very unhealthy and most had ich.

They usually care this kind of fish, but I wouldn't recommend buying any fish or animal from PetCo.

All of their fish tanks are on one big system, so if one fish has a transmittable disease, there's a good chance the rest of the fish in the store has it. Also, they treat their fish especially poorly. Go look at their tanks and you'll notice many diseased and dead fish floating about. I have written multiple emails to PetCo trying to get them to change the way they treat their livestock and recieved nothing but canned responses.

I won't spend a penny at PetCo.. I hope you won't, either. A good alternative is Dr.s Foster and Smith.. if you don't have a store in your area, shop their online store.. They currently have them for $13.99 and have a really good 14 day guarantee... http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_...
