Of course you can feed a goldfish betta food. You can feed any animal any kind of food. The question is, is it the best food you can give them? Each type of food is designed so that it best serves the nutritional needs of each type of fish. As a one-time only thing because you ran out of your food, it's okay to feed a goldfish betta food. But, bettas are carnivorous and, as such, have a diet much higher in protein-rich foods than what a goldfish needs. Quite frankly, it is suggested that, at least once a week, you fast a goldfish anyway to help clear out their intestines. So, it doesn't hurt to miss a feeding with a goldfish. Alternatively, if you ran out of goldfish food, goldfish love a wide variety of fruits and vegetables and also need this in their diet, so you would be a lot better off feeding your goldfish some Romaine lettuce (no iceberg please), cooked fresh or thawed frozen shelled peas, melons, cucumber, grapes, oranges, spinach, parsley, dandelion leaves, broccoli, zucchini, strawberries, bananas. Parboil your tougher foods such as broccoli and carrots. Don't use anything that has been salted or flavored. Otherwise, try absolutely anything at all. They are very adventurous in the food department. You can also make them a gel food by combining baby food, such as strained peas, peas and carrots, spinach, bananas, etc. and mixing it with unflavored gelatin.

I got my betta some pellets and he didn't like them,so I started feeding them to the golfish and the goldfish seems to love them.He's seems to be doing OK,so yeah,you can feed them betta food.

Fish food are more or less of the same substance. So, generally they are ok to be fed to any fishes.

It's the habit of the fishes that are more of a concern to wat type of food you should choose. E.g. If your fishes are top feeder, like mollies and panchax etc, it's better to have floating food. If your fishes are bottom-feeder, like platco and cory, it's better to have sinking type.

Of course there are some food that are meant to increase certain part of the fishes, like coloration, immue system etc.
