Does anyone know where to buy a powerfilter for a cheap price. Around $5-$20 and very cheap shipping. My aquarium is freshwater by the way. Give me the link if you find one.
Answers:Jehmco is the best serious hobbyist/breeder or small acquaculture place. Some other cheap mail order spots are Big Al's Online, that fish place or petswharhouse. The best cheap filters are sponge filters. Buy a hydrosponge, an air stone, some air line and a cheap air pump and you're set for a long time.

The filter I am using right now is the Red Sea nano filter. It can be used for aquariums up to 5 gallons. If you have a small tank, this filter is amazing! It works very, very well for such a small little thing and it is quiet enough to be used in somebodies bedroom because it wont keep you up all night. They are about $15 at a petstore but I saw one online for $8.
The Tetra Whisper is cheap and it works. walmart or petsmart is the best place. Petco is a bit overprice when compared to petsmart.
