Answers:I asked a similar question on here and the answer I got, is this is just yet another case where bigger is better. You certainly are not going to hurt anything getting a 75 vs a 55. Yeah you could well group that in a 55, and be ok. Let's just play devils advocate here, and what if you get a pair that breed? You want to find a new home for the fry? Granted this point, the difference between a 55 and 75 is not greatly significant, you'd still be better off say if a batch of fry got produced, or you just want to provide more overall space. I think your species listing would thrive better. Consider this as well. A 55 and a 75 gallon tank are basically both 48 inches in length, just you have more width to a 75 then a 55. Get the 75 and you'll be more happy.

I would go with the bigger tank. All of the fish you've got will grow to be at least 6", so the more room they have to grow now the better.
Get a big tank cichlids like to dig so i suggest rocks at the bottom also cichlids are very aggressive so dont put to many together i know because i have a cichlid tank myself!
cichlids breed best in pairs of three 1 male for every two females i would say the 75 gallon or larger for this amount of cichlids. They are very terrortorial especially when breeding.
You've got it right. If you can afford the 75 gallon tank go ahead. it is certainly always better to get a bigger tank especially for the amount of cichlids you have.
