Dark Tailed Molly Baby

I have some 14 day old gold lyretail molly fry in a breeding tank, but one is different from the other six. His tail is a dark charcoal gray instead of the pale pinkish orange the others have. He appears to be growing normally, he is eating right, behaves normal, and doesn't seem to have any other deformities. Is this just a temporary thing? Or a defect?
Answers:It's probably just a color trait passed on from another generation. Doesn't sound like anything to worry about.
mabye its a hidden gene.
not all fish come out the same, just like humans. He might stay that way or he might change to what the others are. But nothing to worry about.
Don't worry about it. The color of fish is constantly changing. One of my fish was black spots but a few weeks later, it was all gold and white. Again, don't worry about it and hey, it might be a rare feature! You never know.
Good luck.
