Decorations for dempsey tank

i have three 4-5 inch dempseys. there is nothing in the tank. what should i decorate it with?

The most important would be a cave for hiding. They love to have a den to stay in. A clay flower pot works great for this. You may want to add drift wood as well. Any plants will most likely be torn apart and moved across the tank to their liking.

Also you may want to include a dark colored gravel as they tend to color up to their surroundings. The darker the tank, the blacker the fish. I've used river rocks and the Dempseys were a washed out gray color. I then changed to black gravel and they became a deep charcoal color which really showed off their metallic spots.
