Yes they do!! My fish love me and I love them. They love my baby too. Every morning when we feed them, they all come to the top of the tank to the baby's hand (she sticks it in), and they hang out with us even after they have eaten, so it is not all about food. The baby loves to feel their fins against her hand, and she laughs. I think they can feel that innocent joy and love, and they enjoy that too.
