Does anyone know what fish are compatable with common clownfish other then the common clownfish

If you want to get clownfish and plan on having more than one preferably 2 the max depending on the size of the tank, you have to add them as jueveniles at the same time. Clownfish tend to fight unless introduced into the tank at the same time so they both are in an unfamiliar habitat and are establishing territory at the same time. Other fish can be added later such as dwarf angel species (rusty angel, coral beauty) there are many different kinds of wrasse's that are compatible with clownfish and they also serve purposes of cleaning the tank. Personally i love wrasses theey are some of the most beautiful fish along with angels. Who ever said damsels are mistaken like the 3 stripe, 4 stripe, or domino damsels, is really giving you info that will put many other tank mates at risk later down the line. These fish are agressive and are known to attack fish many times their size. However there is a more community type damsel know as green chromis. Green chromis are hands down THE BEST starter fish for someone new to keeping a marine tank. They are active swimmers, not agressive, very hardy and CHEAP. I would say befor adding your clownfish read about the nitrogen cycle. (I will provide links at the end) if you choose to cycle thje tank with fish and plan to keep clown later go with green chromis. these fish arent the prettiest fish alone but when kept in a small school they are quite stunning. The do sem to like to be kept in odd numbers so as a begginer id reccomend 3 green chromis befor moving up to your ultimate goal of clownfish. In a very well establish tank another good fish to add would be a madarin goby. these fish have become so popular in marine tanks but only do well in a tank that has been running for quite some time. The key to a successful marine tank is lots of research and patience. Dont jump into buying fish until you have read about them and know how large they grow, find if they will get along with the fish you already have, what their dietary needs are, ect...
