How long after you start seeing the black part of their belly do they give birth and how long do you leave the babies seprate before you release them into the main part of the tank?
Answers:I think they usually anywhere from 3-4 weeks after you notice the black spot (called a Gravid Spot) before mollies give birth. After birth you should wait until the fry (babies) are big enough that they won't fit into the mouths of the other adult fish in the tank. This usually mean at least 2 months they must be separated from adults (including their mother).

i dont know what you mean
they are similar to guppies every 21 to 31 days or so and as long as you have plenty of floating plants and submerged plants for the fry to hide in i wouldn't worry
