I cleaned my tank, new filters in overtank units, still cloudy, the fish are still near the top. I have bubblers going for airation, 3 filtration units going.Pacu had LOTS OF EGGS, at a loss for what to do next!
Answers:A pacu is a type of fish closely related to the pirahna (basically, vegetarian pirahna)BTW. a 125 gal. is way too small for them as they grow to be about 24+", they're huge fish and need room to move without breaking anything.
The cloudiness is usually a bacterial bloom, from food thats not eaten, excess of nutrients, etc.
The cloudiness will usually go away in a couple of days.
