How long do fish live
Well just like people fish are all different. And so some live a lot longer than others. From the Killie fish that, in some species, live only a couple of months to the Sturgeon that can live as long as us(and sometime longer!) There are a few that are around in captivity that are reported to live as long as 90 years and more! Just like with us, a lot depends on the fishes lifestyle. Diet, exercise, genetics and location play a big part in how long a fish lives. For instance, a lot of people think that goldfish don't live that long, but that is only because most people don't take care of goldfish properly as they need a lot of care. But if you take care of them the way they need and they are not fish that have been overly inbred(feeder or most carnival fish) they can live up to 20 or 30 years!
it depends on the kind , but for some tropical fishies live up to about 6 years & more all depends on how u take good care of them.
Different type of fish have different life cycles.
Some live very short time and some live as much as 7 to 10 years. There may be few that live even longer.
the life span of each species of fish is not the same. It differs sme live for few weeks while sme live for yrs
Some small fish that live on reefs live only for a few weeks or months. Sturgeons can live for 50 years or longer.
