If there is no expiration date on the bottle and it is unopened it will be fine. I hope you are only doing partial (25-30%) changes every week. That is all you need to do.

I do 22 tanks each week and use only a dechlorinizing agent to remove the chlorine and chloramine.

To be honest, for the sake of a few 拢's unless it is unopened i wouldnt use it you have no idea if it may have become contaminated without your friend knowing or something, i always played it safe with my fishie friends :-)

It would be best not to use it. But if you know the person well, you can ask him/her when he/she had purchased it. If you don't know the person that well, they could've put other liquids into the container without you knowing it. Just be careful.

Since you're only supposed to change half the water out at a time, it should be fine. Remember, it's not strictly necessary for a partial change.

If it's unopened & within the expiry date, it will be safe. If there is no expiry date on the packaging, get rid, it's not worth the few pence you will save.

I use Aquasafe also and as far as I know there is no expiry date on the bottle. I have two bottles of it.. one old and one new and so far I'm using the old one.. I wouldn't really use an old one unless I had it and I knew how long I had because I was the one who bought it.

Check for an expiration date. If you can't find one I would think it is safe.

If you want to be absolutely certain, call the company. You SHOULD be able to find a phone number somewhere on the bottle.

You could also check online. There may be a way to e-mail the company.

has it an expiriy date if not den id just buy a new bottle just to be on da safe side but good luck
