Something is going on or rather wrong with your water. tke some and take it to the local pet store, let them test it for you to see whats going on.it should be free most places.
IS THERE A PUMP IN YOUR TANK?. IF NOT A LACK OF OXYGEN.
I AM
If they are pretty big fish they are probably resting, I have an Oscar and he lays on the bottom to rest. Can you swim that long without resting? and that's all they do.
put a turtle in with them..THEY WILL swim more!
It could be they have swim bladder difficulties, fish of those species are prone to it.
There could be a lack of filtration and oxygen transfer in the water, this is due to no air pump or a faulty air pump.
Put some fish tonic in the water and before that do a partial water change.
have you got all the stuff you need in the tank? filer /air stone heater? how often do you do water changes? have you had the water tested? any damage to fish or signs of illness! there is loads of things it could be! but moor fish are normally active fish so get the stiff you need and get the water checked asap! if not you are going to have floating fish!
