And I want to know why is my water so foggy? I did every thing that The fish store told me to do.

Answers:

The fog is a good thing. It is a bloom of beneficial bacteria that is developing to convert fish waste (ammonia) into nitrites, and then into less harmful nitrates (which you deal with when you do weekly water changes of 25% of the water. Don't do anything to your tank. The fog will clear up in a few days, then do a 25% water change, if the tank doesn't fog up again, it is ready for your first pair of fish.

if its a fresh water fish tank you should clean the tank as clean as possible.use soap .and make sure you rinch it out.them fill it up let all the bubbles in the water pop.wait about a full week.if there a little bubbles go ahead.make sure its not bubbles everywhere.and if the soggy thing is still there.go to the pet store and buy the liquid cleaner it work

They sell drops to clear the water, because it's a pretty common and can be caused by a lot of things. Try buying some, and put in a few drops.

because you did not rinse out the crushed coral or the the stones really good. You needed to turn the filter on too as soon as you put the cushed coral .

It will take some time for that fog to disappear Your tank has to go thru what is called a cycle this will take about 4 to 6 weeks. and the dirtier the filter gets the cleaner the tank will get. just run your filter until the water clears up. please put the whole bag on top of the water and let the water adjust to the same temperature before you let the fish go into the tank.

This is a great question, asked by many people. I suggest not to put fish in until after 1 week.
