I saw a fish at petco that looked like a dog I was really fascinated by it2007-11-24 23:35:50

I was wondering have anyone else have seen this fish that looked like a dog. The clerk at petco said that the name of the fish is dogfish. I thought it was so strange looking.It had ears, nose and mouth just like a dog but it was a fish swimming in the aquariaum, she said it was a salt water tank fish. I don't think I would want to have something that look like that.

Um.. since when does PetCo carry saltwater fish?

No, I don't have one. I like my freshwater babies plenty.

EDIT: Where do you people live? The closest store to me that sells saltwater fish is a good thirty miles away in Lancaster (and I'm fairly close to Philly, so it's not like I'm in the middle of nowhere). PetSmart, PetCo, even the mom-and-pop stores all don't carry saltwater.

Well Petco does sell saltwater. Its PetSmart that does not.

ANYWAY.. There are fish call "dogfish". But I dont think they look like dogs. Maybe they do and I'm just weird.
