One way to tell for sure is buy a feeder guppy (they are inexpensive), if the gold fish eats it, then yes, I would say it is evil. Gold Fish are not aggressive, so that should give you an answer!
Your goldfish is not evil. There is no such thing as an evil animal, they are all born pure of sin and stay that way their whole life.
It is sometimes a little bit confusing I know, but I think what you have there is a Parana fish.A good indication of this is dip your finger in the water and wait for a reaction.
