If so, you need more than an aerator. You need a full-scale saltwater fish setup, which will cost you (depending on where you buy it) around $100-$200 (US dollars; your mileage may vary)

I really recommend going to a saltwater specialty store if you have one in your area. You will pay more than at a big discount chain, but you'll also be buying from people who know what they're talking about and know what you actually need. A good relationship with a store like that is priceless.

In my experience in keeping clown fish, they seem to eat foods sold in petshops for saltwater. Also they like clams and brine shrimps.

clown fish are not very picky eaters. They prefer to eat brine shrimp.They do not require an aereator if you have a working filter pump.

Brine shrimp have very little nutritional value. If you have a sump add some of those mesh bathing scrubs into it and allow them to grow copepods. You can shake out the sponge as needed. Also if you have an established tank, you should have plenty of food such as gammarus as well. Some people can train their clowns to eat flake. You can try frozen mysis as well.

As far as the aerator, I would get one if you do not have any mechanical filtration that will add a small splash as it returns to the tank. Most of the O2 exchange occurs at the surface. HTH
