Don't do it.

The catfish will eat all of the other fish, and that is some expensive fish food.

I have heard of people doing this, and after putting the catfish in the tank, there was a slime all over, and after cleaning it, it came back. Again, and again, and again. Until they just got rid of the catfish in a local pond.

as for the other fish, I do not know.

Just make sure that you have them swim around in a bucket of clean water (but not chlorinated water) before putting them in your aquarium so that they get all of the dirt out of them. (people do this when they catch fish to make them taste better, no dirt taste) it should help keep the aquarium cleaner.

no, putting wild fish in the tank can spread diseases, and parisites to the other fish.

it would be far better to get a home bred fish cat/blue/bass

my ex's dad put a small bass in their fish tank and they had some gold fish and some of those fish with the big bulging eyes. Well the bass ate the eyes out of the other fish then as it got bigger it ate everything in the tank.
