Glass isn't porous enough for water to leak out of it, so I don't think Clorox could leak into it.

Although the properties of glass classify it as a liquid the answer is no, it will not soak through. Or more precisely, by the time that it does soak through your children's children will have grand kids..

If you wipe just the glass and don't get anywhere near the top edge where some could leak over into the tank, you should have no problem. Just be sure to keep it far away from the water so neither the bleach nor the fumes come in contact with the water.

Do not use Clorox. use vinegar water , Clorox my get in side accidentally and will kill all the fish. never use harsh cleaners on aquariums . in side or out.
