go to walmart get a tank at least one gallon put it in declorinated water feed it according to directions on the food container change 20% of the water each week give it a real or plastic plant to hide in

bettas are very easy to take care of. Just change their water at constant times, feed them well, and make sure to put conditioner in their water to get rid of the chlorine. Give your fish enough space to swim around. Never put more than one male in one tank, or they will fight until one is dead. Never put one male and female in one tank unless they are ready to breed. You may put many females in one tank as long as they have enough space, but they might attack each other for awhile until they get tired, so some may die either of being hurt, or stressed, so i suggest to put each in their own tank.
