ENJOY, have fun with your tank.

Yes because 29 gal is too small for salt water fish, salt water fish need alot of room
It's not too small. You may only house 3-4 fish in it, depending on the fish you want. Some of the bigger fish wont be suitable for a 29 gal. tank, since they need lots of room. Don't overcrowd your tank with decorations and they should be fine. I have two tanks. My main tank is a 46 gal. bow front, and the other is a 10 gal. The only thing is, my 10 gal is just my quarantine tank. That means that my fish (no matter the size) are only in the small tank for one month. When they show no signs of ick or any sickness, they get to move over to the big tank. Be careful not to overcrowd. Good luck.
It is not to small but you have to consider that the smaller the tank the faster it can crash and kill everything in it. Here is a link to small tank success article http://www.liveaquaria.com/general/gener.

Good Luck

A 29 gallon tank isn't to small for a saltwater aquarium. However, this does limit you on what you can keep. Even though you can keep saltwater in a 29 gallon it does become more work to keep a smaller tank. Water changes once or twice a week depending on what you keep. I would also stay away from any fish that will get large or can be aggressive towards others unless you just want to keep those fish.
