If the live rock comes from Fiji would'nt it make sense to top-off the evaporation with Fiji water?
Answers:no Fiji water is for drinking.fish need tap or salt water
your about as dumb as that rock
I have to agree with the previous replier.
If you want to literally pour your money away then go right ahead. I wouldn't suggest tap water, definitely something that has gone through a reverse osmosis system. The minerals that they add to the drinking water may not be that beneficial to your life rock.
Just use purified water for your top off. Remember that you should be topping off with water that has no salt in it. As water evaporates from your tank the salinity rises. To keep the salinity steady just use purified water for top off.
Good Luck.
Fiji Water is natural spring water for drinking quality. However, the water in aquarium serves a different purpose, suddly this statement seems rather uncalled for, Anyway, try using distilled water which will be cheaper.
