Depends on what kind of "sucker fish" you are talking about. If it is an otocinclus(the only kind of sucker fish appropriate for a tank smaller than 30 gallons) then it should not bother eggs or fry. If it is the more common "sucker fish", a plecostomus, then it may pose some harm to the eggs and fry. If it is a pleco and you have it with a betta, you should get rid of it or get it a bigger tank.
