Fish may not feel pain, but without the lips, it would be difficult for it do get enough water through its gills, not to mention that it would probably bleed to death. If you are really serious, then you would have to have a vet do it so it wouldn't get infected or bleed too much, and I can tell you that will cost a LOT. Sorry. Most of the time you can see the teeth pretty well anyway. Actually, the red bellied piranha, which is 12in. long, you can see the teeth pretty well. I would suggest getting that variety if you want to see the teeth.
