Is it wrong to keep fish that you buy in a fish tank

Is it wrong to keep fish that you buy in a fish tank2007-11-24 23:37:23 just make sure it's big enough, has plenty of oxygen, food and clean water (no tap). Also make sure it's not an extremly exotic fish because sometimes they are not bred in captivity and the animals in the wild get hurt when they captured your little fishy.

My parakeets liked to be in their cage. It had food, water, toys and they got to come out every day to fly around. They liked to fly around but they'd rather be in the cage cuddling up.

Animals like what they're used to. Freedom isn't a concept they fully understand. For some animals they don't like freedom, it confuses them. They would rather be in their habitat with things they know than to be cast out in the cold cruel world.

:) Put your fish back in the tank and let him be in a nice watery world with oxygen that he can breathe and things that he's used to.

pond would be cool
I think if they are in the RIGHT size tanks. In the right conditions I think its okay. Also, the fish you buy are not from the lake or ocean themselves. They are breed to be in tanks. So therefor unfortunley they dont know any different. I think it would be totally wrong if they were taken out of their natural habbitat then put in a tank.
its not wrong thats what I did and what most people do
If it has a large tank with plenty of room and are well cared for then it's not bad. Plus so many fish we keep as pets are captive bred so they don't know any better.
Yes. Throw them in your pool.

. where are all the smart people?
