if your mail goldfish have white spots on there gills then that shows that they are spawning, also your fish would have been chasing each other around the tank, this may look violent but its not. i would take a much closer look at these black spots. if your tank water has gone sudenly coudy then yes your fish may have layn eggs, if so, try to take your fish out of the tank and put them somewere else that is a safe inviroment becuos your fish will eat the fry.
