My male Blood Parrot has brown spots over it .. is it a disease ?
Answers:No. There is nothing wrong with your blood parrot. Blood Parrots getting spots is VERY common. I have a blood parrot and he started getting black colored spots on him. I am not sure what causes this but if you buy aquarium salt and follow the directions,(you don't want too much salt in the tank) the spots will be gone in a week basically. You should start noticing a difference within a few days.
You may also want to check to see that no sunlight is hitting your tank. Once I got rid of the spots, I covered up a part of my tank where the sunlight was coming in and he hasn't gotten spots since.
Don't worry. Your blood parrot should be fine. Hope this helps
