My platy is prego (at least I think she is) and now today she won't eat. Plus she is sitting at the bottom of the tank kinda hiding.
Answers:It could very well be. If she looks fat enough to explode and her tummy kind of looks square, that's also a sure sign.
getting close but not ready yet. usually...usually my females will be at the top of the tank and have their tails dragging and start wiggling... This is when she is close to have young, if she doesnt have pigment like black, you can see the little vent. it comes out like like alittle bump at the right before the anal fin.
when my fish are ready to deliver, they sit at the bottom for a few days and I set up the baby net for the babies.
