Is this tank good for a betta2007-11-24 23:11:46

My friend bought me a betta and it is just in this small bowl and can't really swim around. I was planning on going to PetSmart tonight.

Will this Tank be sufficient?

Just get a standard sized goldfish bowl and put it in there it should be fine. Yes the bowl pictured shoud be fine.

beta's can survive anything. that tank looks fine for it.

...I didn't look at your link, however, a Betta needs to swim around in a clean enviorment...(alone)...unless your a knowledgeable Betta breeder.

people think betas dont need much room, but they would really appreciate it. they can survive, but would be much happier in an aquarium

That tank is very sufficient for you Betta. It says that it's a 1 gallon tank, but a 2.5 gallon tank is much more better for a Betta.
