My Pangasius Catfish are not taking food
My Pangasius Catfish are not taking food2007-11-24 23:38:44
I have three pangasius catfish in my aquarium but they are not eating anything since I brought them a month ago. On a website I also read that there should be 1 or 6 pangasius catfish for best survival. Is it true?
I feed them:
Floating Pellets
Sinking Pellets
Flake Food
Blood Worms
Tubifex Worms
Are these foods sufficient? If not, then please tell me some another food that they can eat!
Answers:maybe it is eating but you have not noticed
Have you tried live brine shrimp? And have you tried feeding them at night? Sounds like they're more of a nocturnal fish. What size is the tank you have them in, you know they get up to 12+ inches? Wouldn't recommend buying anymore of them if you're considering.

Youngsters are more carnivorous than adults. Bloodworm and catfish tablets are best at first, moving onto shrimp and spinach cubes as the fish get larger will do good. Ultimately any primarily vegetable based floating pellet foods will also do.
