There's something in the water that's causing it
mold
Molly's get several things that fit what you are describing.
Fin & tail rot
Ick
bacterial infections.
Go to the pet store and describe exactly what she has and where, and ask whoever helps out in the fish department to help you pick a medication to ad to her water.
Good thing you seperated her, thats wise and you can use where she is as a hospital tank.
YOu may also have to treat the large tank.
Your fish has a fungal infection. You were right to separate her from the others. You can treat the infection by putting an anti fungal solution into the water, and these solutions are available at all good aquariums and pet shops. It is not a fatal thing, but can be stubborn when you're trying to get rid of it.
You could probably take her to a pet store to be sure but it could be this condition that I read about.(I can't remember the name) You see this is a problem that occurs when there's to much dissolved Oxygen in the water. I just learned about this in Biology class when i was doing a dissolved oxygen test. Try going to the pet store and if they don't know right away what it is then you might need to get a tank filter thing that regulates the oxygen level in the water. To much or to little can kill aquatic creatures in the water.
Make sure you change the water properly. Fish are nibbling at her because she is sick or they are picking on her..it is a fungus and needs to be treated. Visit your local pet shop right away. The liquid meds are the best, but you can get a capsule..but ask the fish shop how much to use.remember, they are not a vet and can give you an idea what might be wrong! Only a vet for exotic pets can help! But if it is only a fish, and not a favorite pet, you can experiment and learn fish keeping by experimenting and asking questions, and learning from internet sites.www.tetra.com
i dont really now but you should go get your fish checked out.
Fungus. GET MEDICATION NOW, AND DON'T DELAY!
hey peeps, answer my question above this one. the goldfish one.
maybe you killed her by biten off her poor tail? man are you hungery something are you trying to eat her for food. well anyways , i think the reason her body and rest of her is spreading apart . maybe she is dying is she flowing top of the water . or you needed to return the fish back to the pet shop to get another fish thats alive and heathly . or you needed to clean out the tank and replace a clean water if its dirty .
FOR SURE!! YOU GOT ICK!! get some quick cute!! fast!
